The Grafton Stacking chair is an elegant, durable and versatile model for education, community and office spaces. The standard four leg model will stack up to 8 high, or 6 if you opt to upgrade and have it with an upholstered seat pad. The powder-coated steel frame has a black, cool grey or ash grey finish. You can upgrade this model to have castors on each leg or go all the way up to the task base version, which both support agile learning and flexible room setups. Having multiple versions of this chair lets you maintain a consistent design aesthetic across a campus. The generous perforations of Grafton’s distinctive injection-moulded backrest provide better ventilation and flexibility. This unique feature was created to offer the comfort of a mesh backed chair without compromising on durability. The rolled edges of the backrest are mirrored on the seat shell to create a waterfall edge for supreme comfort. For area where extra comfort is required, you can upgrade to the fully upholstered seat. The most popular fabrics are online, with other ranges available on request. Other options include adding a 360° swivelling tablet arm.
