Other Fabrics
Discover a world of contract fabrics here at Rosehill. Our range isn’t limited to the very biggest brands, but niche, specialist contract fabric manufacturers too. So, no matter what your upholstery needs are, Rosehill can meet them!
When it comes to the upholstery of your contract furniture, Rosehill offers unparalleled choice. All the fabrics we offer on our seating are contract quality and fire resistant.
The types of upholstery you can choose from include Repreve®, polyester, wool, boucle, velvet and other types of fabric, plus vinyl and faux leather options. Your choice of colours is almost endless, and you can decide between plain, textured, or patterned designs.
As for characteristics, our fabric range includes stain resistant, stain repellent, waterproof, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial, marine quality, REACH compliant, outdoor use or tropical tested fabrics.
If fire resistance is a particular concern, then you’ll find that our fabric and vinyl ranges are available in different grades of fire retardancy. These grades include:
- Crib 2 (EN 1021 Cigarette and Match), which is suitable for low-hazard buildings.
- Crib 5 (BS 5852/BS 7176), which is suitable for medium hazard buildings.
- Crib 7 (BS 5852) for high hazard areas/buildings.
Note that we are able to provide full information on each of our fabrics, with testing certificates available on request.
Whilst many of our made-to-order furniture items are available with any upholstery, others are only available in a limited range of fabrics and colours. Please always check the individual product description to see what upholstery options are available.
It’s also important to remember that if you wish to upholster an item in certain types of fabric, this may affect the individual unit price of the item in question.
On our website we list and show the most popular ranges from the fabric manufacturers we primarily work with. However, we are able to obtain and use any of the fabrics produced by these manufacturers.
On some items, we can also offer a COM (Customer’s Own Material) option, where you provide the material for us to use. COM is, however, subject to testing and suitability of the suggested upholstery.
Finally, we strongly recommend viewing fabric cards or swatches prior to ordering. This is because colours often look different on a screen compared to ‘real life’ (we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colours viewed online or on a screen).
To request samples in the post, please email your address and what you would like to see to: sales@rosehill.co.uk.
