The Lightweight Stacking chairs are some of our most popular models for churches, halls and multi-use flexible spaces. These chairs stack 10 high on the floor, or up to 25 high on our Zigzag Stacking Trolleys. However a lot of our customers aren’t sure which of the two versions to buy, or what the differences are – so we’ll try and clear that up here.
The two versions are the Vesta and the Urban. They are made by different manufacturers. The Vesta chairs are made in Europe, and the Urban chairs in the UK. The frames and size between the two is virtually identical. Both are made to order in our wide range of fabric and vinyl types and colours. For fast delivery there is sometimes stock of either (if you need a quick delivery call the office on 0161 485 1717 to check availability – stock options are much more limited in colour/finish).
There are then two main differences. The Vesta has a chrome finish on the frame, and the Urban has an EPC (Epoxy Powder Coated) finish. The latter is available in a wide choice of colours, with the silver and the black the most popular. The other difference is in the seats. The Vesta has a slimmer foam which is on a shaped board, and the Urban has a slightly thicker cushion on a flat board. Both chairs have the option of adding linking, arms and/or book storage.
If you’d like any more information, or to try samples of both (either in our showroom or via our Sample Service) please get in touch.
