We were delighted to visit St Thomas Church earlier this week where we supplied a range of chairs and tables for their recent Church and Community refurbishment.
We were contacted by Tim, the project Manager in 2021, where we quickly arranged a visit to the Rosehill purpose-built showroom where we hold a variety of chairs, tables and other furniture items for customers to view and sample before deciding what to purchase from us. Aside from this service, we also provided fabric samples. This is a great option when you’ve decided on the product, but you’re deliberating on the colour scheme and how to fit in with your current décor.
St Thomas Church based in the historic City of Lancaster, have been planning the ‘Heart of the City Project’ for seven years. The planning of a new church centre with a modern, highly efficient and highly flexible number of spaces for use by the Church Family and the local community. It was great to visit the Church and see the fantastic renovations completed, and the Centre as St. Thomas was officially opened on the 12th March – with the furniture from Rosehill proudly on show.
They ordered a total of 200 Urban chairs, in 5 bold and brilliant colours from the Highland Treated Fabric range. The chairs included the optional linking feature, and 20 had arms too. The Urban Chairs are one of our most popular options; they’re lightweight and easy to move, strong, durable, sleek and modern, and finally, they stack up to 10 high on the floor or up to an impressive 25 on a trolley.
With St. Thomas being the flexible community space with a need to easily move, stack and store their furniture, they also ordered 6 ZigZag stacking trolleys to store the chairs on.
For tables, Rosehill supplied 14 of the 6ft Rectangular tables, 10 of the 5ft circular tables and 4 of the 4ft circular tables – all in the Lightweight Folding range. These are easy to move and store to allow for extra flexibility in the mixed Church and community space. To help transport and store the tables, we also supplied a table trolley as well. Rosehill often has bespoke table and trolley packages which not only help with space-saving and flexibility, it’s often a competitive money-saving option.
Finally, to finish the order for St Thomas Church, 2 Tilt-Top Pedestals Tables, which are perfect for dining or breakout areas. They’re easy to move and store, with the quality flip mechanism.
I think we can notice a quite obvious theme throughout the furniture supplied – all of which is easy to move, stack, and store.
Tim, the centre’s project manager said “It has been a pleasure to work with Rosehill who were able to offer us many options at an affordable price point. Rosehill have been efficient to deal with & Jo was very helpful in showing us many options. One of the reasons we chose Rosehill over other suppliers who we considered was that they offered chairs made in the UK with fabric woven in Lancashire!”
Another great project for Rosehill to get involved with. If you have similar requirements to St Thomas Church and Centre, please get in touch with our sales team where we can discuss your requirements further.
